In the world of film and television, every beam of light, every shot, and every cut carries dreams, persistence, and passion. 鄭仲迪 is a pioneer in Taiwan’s VR/XR field, standing at the forefront of immersive visual development.

As a long-time XR Technical Manager and Program Curator for the Kaohsiung Film Festival, he has helped connect cross-disciplinary exhibitions and productions. His work often happens behind the scenes—setting up VR equipment, integrating immersive systems, fine-tuning spatial perception—all essential bridges between art and technology.

His message to younger students: filmmaking is not limited to cameras and actors. The future of storytelling lies in XR, immersion, and interactivity. If you’re passionate about both technology and creativity, follow his example—master the behind-the-scenes details, and you too can create something extraordinary.

Rising from a massive public casting, 曾敬驊 stepped into the spotlight—onto the big screen and into the hearts of audiences.

He entered the department with dreams of directing but discovered a passion for acting while participating in class projects. During his studies, he acted in multiple student films, refining his craft and deepening his love for performance. In his senior year, he also worked as a producer on the short film 《單車計劃》 to strengthen his industry insight.

His breakout role came as “魏仲廷” in 《返校》, earning him a Golden Horse nomination for Best New Actor. Later, his performance as Birdy in 《刻在你心底的名字》 established his place in cinema. He has since expanded into television, starring in 《不良執念清除師》 and earning nominations for the Asian Television Awards and the Golden Bell Awards. In 2025, he received another Golden Horse nomination for Best Supporting Actor for 《我家的事》.

His story reminds students that there are no shortcuts in acting. Audition, fail, learn, and persist—each rejection is a step toward mastery. Every setback is a rehearsal for your future spotlight.

After graduation, her short film 《我的水鬼爸爸》, co-created with alumnus 李冠賢, won both the Pingtung Film Festival Grand Prize and Best Actress.

She continues to work in professional productions while collaborating with alumni, starring in 《女綁匪》(2024), 《當風吹起時》(2024 graduation film), and the 2025 major production 《艾瑞亞》. Her dedication to performance fuels both her craft and her mentorship to younger peers.

Her journey shows that being an actor and a creator are not mutually exclusive. You can perform and produce—turn ideas into films through collaboration and courage. For those who dream of acting and creating, she’s a living example of fearless versatility.

To Our Students: You Can Go Further Than You Think

Their paths differ—some in front of the camera, some behind, some in new media, some in traditional film—but all share one thing in common: they never forgot where they began. They once auditioned, adjusted lighting, color-graded, and edited in classrooms. They’ve faced doubt and rejection, yet proved themselves through perseverance and achievement.

A few words for you:
  • Master the fundamentals. Whether it’s editing, lighting, cinematography, or scriptwriting, solid skills prepare you for when opportunities come.
  • Cross-disciplinary skills are your advantage. Understanding XR, interaction, coding, 3D, or sound design makes your work more competitive.
  • Attitude outweighs talent. Rejection and revision are part of every creator’s journey. Persistence and output will make your voice heard.
  • Stay true to your creative heart. In the industrialized world of media, don’t lose your storytelling spirit—it’s the soul of your art.
