From online preparation and hands-on practice in film sound engineering to VR production, immersive exhibitions, and technology-art field studies, Professor Chen extends learning beyond the classroom—to exhibition venues, industry sites, and even virtual worlds—where students can experience, reflect, and create.

In response to generative AI, he goes beyond introducing tools such as ElevenLabs, Suno, and NotebookLM. With an experience-first approach, he guides students in developing ethical judgment and aesthetic discernment. His consistently high teaching evaluations reflect the patience with which he supports students in independent exploration and encourages them to face the unknown with confidence.
